SWANSEA City are waiting for Manchester City to come back in for Scott Sinclair as it emerged Chelsea will benefit if the winger quits the Liberty.
Swansea are in negotiations with City over Sinclair, who has told Michael Laudrup he wants to leave Wales.

But whatever City pay for Sinclair will not all come Swansea's way because of a sell-on clause in the deal which brought him to Wales from Chelsea two years ago.
"There is a sell-on clause like there is when any young player moves clubs," Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins admitted.
"But that will not be in our thoughts when it comes to deciding what to do with Scott.
"We have got a value we feel is right and is fair for a young British player, and it's up to Manchester City to come back to us."
There have been suggestions City have failed with an initial £5 million offer for Sinclair.
Jenkins denied those claims, but says he is waiting to hear more from Brian Marwood, who is football administration officer at the Etihad Stadium.
"They have made contact with us and we have talked things through," Jenkins explained.
"They have said they will come back to us and I fully expect that to happen.
"But these things are very loose and they haven't come back as yet.
"At this time of year you have to remember that a lot of clubs talk things through and look at different scenarios."
Sinclair has only a year to run on his contract in SA1 and could walk away for nothing next summer.
Swansea have made it clear they would rather cash in on the former England Under-21 man now than lose him on a Bosman, but that will not stop them fighting to get the right price.
"It's nice to have a clear understanding of where you are with all your players' contracts at this time of year," Jenkins said.
"That's not an individual thing with Scott, it's the same with all players.
"But we can only sell him if there is a willing buyer out there — you can't give players away."
