Ex-NY Lawyer Pleads Guilty In Client Theft

A disbarred New York lawyer has pleaded guilty in the theft of nearly $140,000 from clients, Manhattan prosecutors said Thursday.

Manhattan prosecutors had alleged that Howard Blau, 69 years old, abused the confidence of several long-term clients whom he first met through pro bono representation he provided through the Jazz Foundation of America and the Actor's Fund of America.
